It should be a short name, easy to recognise and pronounce with a strong message, ICHI … meaning No. 1 in Japanese, had all that and so a new brand was born.
ICHI is global fashion for the fun and fabulous urban girl. Fashion is all about attitude and appearance and this is exactly what the ICHI girl is about. The ICHI girl is cool and creative and when it comes to fashion she is a step ahead of time but not run out of money, as ICHI offers a perfect quality versus quantity ratio. The first ICHI store opened in autumn 2000 and the label is now represented in most major cities in Europe.
